Room Types and Details
- What is the room view like?
- Our hotel offers three distinct, scenic room views:
- A bayview of the Rainbow Bridge and Odaiba Area
- A riverside view of Sumida-gawa, accompanied by a highrise backdrop
- A panoramic urban view of Sumida-gawa and the city, with the famous landmark Tokyo Sky Tree as the centerpiece
- What are rooms with bath views?

We offer rooms with bathroom views that allow guests to enjoy the beautiful panorama of the Rainbow Bridge, Odaiba and the Tokyo Bay.
- Do rooms come with shower booths?
- All rooms are equipped with their own shower booth, which is also separate from the bathtub.
- What is the room size?
- We offer rooms from 34m² to 85m² in size.
- What size are the beds?

- If I use a wheelchair, what is the width of the room entryway?

- Are there connecting guest rooms?
- We offer connecting rooms for Bayview Superior (Twin) room type on our Regular Floors. Please contact us to reserve in advance, as number of these rooms are limited.

To ensure a comfortable stay, we provide a multitude of free rental items for our guests.

- Am I able to watch DVDs/videos?

We provide equipment such as DVD players as rental items.
Please contact the front desk if you would like to rent any of these items, as they are in limited supply.
- Internet Access

Wi-fi is provided in each guest room (100m range).
We also provide 2 LAN cables for easy internet access to devices.
Regarding Reservation and Room Requests
- Is there a rate for children? Can my child sleep with me on the same bed?

Children may stay with their parents free of charge by sharing the same bed, or sleep in a provided baby crib.
- *Please contact us if you would like to use the baby crib (free of charge).
- *Note that there are no extra bed guards attached to the baby crib.
- How do I request for a non-smoking room, or a high-floor room?

From March 1st, 2019 onwards, all guest rooms at the Intercontinental Tokyo Bay have adopted a strict non-smoking policy.
If you wish to stay in a high-floor room, mid-floor room or a low-floor room, please notify us of your request. Based on the room availabilities during your stay, we will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
- Can I request a specific guest room number to stay at?
- We do not manage requests for a specific guest room number. Upon reservation, guests can specify the guest room type you wish to utilize.
- Parking

For guests who are visiting us by car, we have a parking lot available at the basement floors of the hotel.
The daily rate for parking is 2,500 yen per night, which lasts until 1 hour after checkout time. Guests who continue to use the parking lot past the designated time period will then be subject to additional fees of 600 yen per hour.
We ask that hotel guests kindly stop by the front desk to pick up their parking ticket.

- Are there arrangements that can be made for 3 people? (Extra beds)

In the case of 3 guests, an extra bed can be added for an additional fee.
For Regular Floors, we can prepare 1 extra bed per room.
As the number of extra beds is limited, please let us know in advance if you need one.*Depending on the room type, there may be times when an extra bed cannot be added.
- Can you store my luggage before check-in?

Yes, we can. If a guest arrives early, we will store their luggage at the Bell Captain Desk.

- What happens when I change hotel rooms during my stay?

If you plan on changing hotel rooms during your stay, please notify the front desk of your plans and time preferences for the room transition upon check-in.
We will try out best to ensure a smooth room transition.

For cancellation, please contact us two days before your stay to avoid cancellation charges.
- 1 day Prior: 20% of accommodation fee
- On the Day: 80% of accommodation fee
- No Show: 100% of accommodation fee
- Is there a waitlist?

We do not have a waitlist system, as the status of reservations changes daily.
Please check back with us or our website for occupancy changes.
- Are there daytime bookings?

Yes, we offer daytime bookings, but there are no accommodations packages provided for daytime bookings.

- Can I redeem my airline miles?
- You can redeem your airline miles at Intercontinental Tokyo Bay through becoming a member of the IHG® Rewards Club.
- Are there hotel services for anniversary celebrations?

We will accept reservation for cake, champagne and flowers for special occasions. Please directly contact room reservations for arrangements.

We accept the payments from the following credit card options:
American Express, Diners Club, VISA, Master, JCB, Saison, UC, DC, UFJ (including Million), Nicos, Takashimaya, UnionPay
- Can I pay with my debit card?

Yes. Please check which debit cards are eligible for payment by referring to the JEPPO homepage for more information.
(Please note that we no longer accept debt cards issued by The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi.)
- Can I use gift vouchers?

We accept the use of gift vouches presented by the following card companies:
American Express, Diners Club, VISA, Master, JCB, UC, DC, UFJ (including Million), Nicos or JTB Nice Stay
- How much is the deposit?
- In the case of a cash payment, we require a full deposit of the hotel reservation at the check-in process.

- Can I buy a hotel gift card?

For hotel rooms and dining services, we provide 2 types of gift cards available for purchase (The Gift "Class" and "Platinum").
The "Class" gift card is offered at 36,000 yen (tax included), which covers an overnight stay at the Club Intercontinental Floor River View rooms, and lunch or dinner service for 2~6 guests at our hotel restaurants.
The "Platinum" gift card is offered at 145,000 yen (tax included), which consists of 4 "Class" gift cards for hotel rooms and dining services.
- Can I combine my online discount plan with other coupons?
- The online discount plan cannot be combined with other coupons.
Other Questions
- Can I use the massage services in my hotel room?

Yes, for guests staying at our hotel, we offer massage services from 7pm to 2am. Guests can easily request massage services by phone.
Half an hour: 3,780 yen (tax included)
50 minutes: 6,372 yen (tax included)
- Is there a dress code/regulations?
- For guests that choose to dine at La Provence, Teppanyaki Takumi, and Manhattan, we kindly advise that guests follow a causal smart dress code.
Regarding other dining services, there is no particular dress code.
Finally, please refrain from wearing hotel slippers and sleepwear in dining facilities (with the exception of the hotel room).
- I haven't received the confirmation email for my hotel booking. What should I do?

In the case of any possible errors (PC issues, misspelling of e-mail address), guests may not receive a confirmation email.
