Japanese garden based on the concept of
"Satoyama landscape"

The garden, inspired by the Japanese satoyama landscape, features a variety of trees that are carefully shaped and presented in an elegant manner. Seasonal flowers are strategically arranged to allow guests to experience the changing seasons of Japan, from the budding of fresh greenery to autumn leaves and blooming flowers. As you look down at your feet in the sunlight filtering through the trees, you'll notice a lush growth of wildflowers like mountain laurel, azaleas, and dodan azaleas. To symbolize the natural flow of water, a Tsukubai representing "water gushing from the source" is placed at the garden's center, while a karesansui technique using sand patterns creates the illusion of rippling water and a gentle river flow in the foreground. The garden showcases the shimmering beauty of overflowing water and the varying expressions of plants throughout different times of the day and seasons. Immerse yourself in a tranquil and relaxing stay surrounded by seasonal flowers and plants in this Japanese satoyama-inspired garden.

OMOTENASHI (Dinner time Hospitality)

We are pleased to present an exquisite selection of beverages to complement our Japanese-style course dinners.
Our offerings include Shichiken sake and sparkling wine from Hakushu in Yamanashi, and from the venerable Ishikawa Brewery in Tama, Tokyo;
a storied institution that opened its doors near the end of the Edo Period.
Please take this opportunity to try sake, an integral part of Japan's history and culture.

Shichiken Sparkling Yama no Kasumi

Shichiken Sparkling Yama no Kasumi

This is slightly cloudy sparkling sake with a rich taste.
There is a beauty to the cloudiness and bubbles as they dance gently in the glass like mist looming over the Kaikoma-ga-take Mountains. The sweetness of the Koji combined with a mild acidity and fruity aroma of this refined sake with sediment is exceptional, lending itself well to casual enjoyment and the customary toast.
This sparkling sake won the Bronze prize in the sparkling sake category at International Wine Challenge in 2023.

Founded in 1750 in the Hakushu area of Hokuto, Yamanashi, this sake is now brewed by Yamanashi Meijo Co. Ltd. In 2014, the Shichiken brand strategy was introduced, and in 2015, Yama no Kasumi sparkling sake, which is allowed to ferment a second time in the bottle, was launched after five years of development.
In 2021, the brewery launched a sparkling sake in collaboration with the French master winemaker, Alain Ducasse.
