Chef's Profile

Chef Yohei ABE

Joined Restaurant Chianti in 1998 and studied Italian cuisine for four years.
After studying at each section of Restaurant FARO SHISEIDO for four years from 2002, he served as the fish & meat cook for one year at AROMA FRESCA. In 2009, he gained experience studying new Italian cuisine from Mr. Paolo Pelosi at Piacere, the Italian restaurant at the Shangri-La Hotel Tokyo.
In November of 2012, he joined The InterContinental Tokyo Bay. From March of 2013 he has served as Chef of Italian Dining Zillion.
He considers speed to be the heart of Italian cuisine and he strives to provide customers with the moment of deliciousness when the food has just finished being cooked.
